about us
The thing about us is that it's not about us at all....It's all about you ladies and gentlemen. Ladies, it's all about the things you love to indulge in, pamper yourself, treat yourself or crave to help you feel wonderful. Gentlemen, it's all about helping you to understand what women want, be one step ahead of the game and help her feel happy and wonderful. And stop having to tip-toe around.
The website is growing organically in a way to become what you want it to be. The internet makes for a fantastic place to access information, but we are a step ahead because we tap into the wonderful things you can do to build closer relationships and chat with you to bring you, us and the companies that have wonderful things to offer you closer together.
iPremenstral.com likes to use email to let you know about what's going on and we are very much involved in the online social networks such as Facebook, MySpace and in the not so distant future, we will be creating funny videos through YouTube. You can also provide your feedback through the website.
An important point ot note is that despite the fact that we are talking grouchy, grumpy, irrational, we turn this into fun and positive every time. We have a strict policy of no moaning. Afterall, life is too short! If you spot any moaning taking place, please let us know.
A Scary Place to Be Do you know how many just plain grouchy women there are in the world right a this moment?
According to Wikkipedia, there is an approximate world population of 6,600,224,175. Of this population, 3,301,112,088 are female. As an estimate, 50% of these females are within the right age brackets to have a monthly cycle, making it just over 1.5 billion women.
90% of women who experience a monthly cycle recognise some effect on their mood. 35 % of these women get the feeling so badly it effects their daily life. The other 65% i.e. 965,575,286 get a bit grouchy and it's enough to cause a few arguments and finish off with a bar of chocolate. Divide this figure by 52 (because the feeling generally lasts around a week) times 12 assuming it's once a month and hey presto there are over 222 million grouchy women in the world, probably grumpy right now. Now that's one scary part of the world to be in.
Assuming less than half of those women have partners, we can safely say that over 50 million men at some point in the next week will be tip-toeing around.
Because this is so widespread, we thought it would be a good one to tackle on the internet. It's probably not going away in our lifetime. And we probably can't fix it, but we can have a good stab at helping people feel wonderful in the process. Let's work with nature, celebrate the quirks of women and have a fantastic excuse to indulge right now. Women Have a Sense of Humour
Despite the nature of this subject being pretty grim, ugly and not something that is talked about in general conversation, it is something that women can and do laugh about in themselves and amongst friends. We can see what's funny about our transformation like the Hulk. Just because we are grumpy now and again, we still have a sense of humour and can laugh at ourselves. And here's a little secret....yes, we chat amongst friends and relate to it being that time of the month....and yes....we know we were making life a more difficult that normal.
You see the TV programmes, Grumpy Old Men and Grumpy Old Women. iPremenstral.com is the equivalent of Grumpy Young Women.
There was an episode of Shameless when Debbie aged around 13 started her periods. When whe told Yvonne the Shopkeeper her words of wisdom were "That's OK. So you've become a woman. Now use the anger inside you to your advantage."
The quirky side of women is creeping in there. So lets march boldly forward together where no woman has boldly gone before! Be grumpy, feel wonderful and be proud of it.
